Soloist
with orchestra
A first solo appearance with orchestra became a defining early milestone in Ruby’s artistic path.
At the Young Soloists of VNAMYO concert, 17-year-old Ruby opened the programme as viola soloist in George Telemann’s Concerto in G major. She performed with the Vietnam National Academy of Music Youth Orchestra under conductor Đồng Quang Vinh. The evening marked a major step from student musician to concerto soloist: an experience requiring poise, musical authority and genuine dialogue with an orchestra.
